Farm Learning

City Seeds is PFP's intensive educational program that trains future farmers; provides youth from urban areas with hands-on farming, gardening and cooking experiences; and produces and distributes regionally-adapted and open-pollinated seeds while disseminating knowledge about seed saving.

Through Community Education our working farm becomes an educational resource for a wide diversity of individuals and groups to gain hands-on experiences and knowledge, shared through farm visits with educational activities for youth and other community groups, thematic farm tours, open volunteer times in the fields and gardens, cooking demonstrations and food and farming related SkillShares and events.
