Visit Us!

The Poughkeepsie Farm Project welcomes groups to visit the farm throughout the season, from April through October.

Interactive Farm Visits for Youth

Children and youth enjoy exploring the farm, picking and tasting vegetables from the fields, as well as games, cooking, and other educational activities designed to meet your interests. Tours and activities usually run between 1 and 2 hours.

Tours for Adult Groups and College Classes

PFP tours can be arranged for adult groups and college classes, tailored to your interest. Possible topics include principles of sutainable vegetable farming systems, CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), community food security, seed saving, and integrating youth and the community into a mission-based farm.

Fees

Our fee for youth visits is $5 per student per hour (minimum of $50.00 per hour. A limited amount of scholarship funding is available for youth visits.  The fee for adult / college tours is $50 per hour. Contact us to arrange your visit.
