Seasonal SkillShares
A SkillShare is an event where amateurs and experts, enthusiasts and those who are just curious, can gather together in a friendly open environment to share their stories and experiences, and join in a community discussion on topics of interest. Each PFP SkillShare has a seasonal theme. Check back for information on our Fall 2011 SkillShare.
Tuesday Tours
Tuesday Tours, scheduled on second Tuesdays June through October at 6 pm at the PFP's Creamery, are free and open to the public. On each tour, we will provide a general overview of the PFP, talking about the purpose, programs and production of our farm-based non-profit organization while wallking through the the farm and gardens. We will also provide some additional information related to the month's Politics of Food and Farming theme.
Tuesday Talks on the Politics of Food and Farming
Committed to building a just and sustainable food system, the PFP facilitates a series of short talks to critically examine key food, farming, and social justice issues related to our community and intersecting with the wider world. Each talk will be followed by time for discussion, encouraging participants to raise questions, share experiences and knowledge, and explore alternatives for transforming the food system. Tuesday Talks are scheduled on third Tuesdays June through October at 7 pm at the Adriance Memorial Library.
